Digital marketing led leads generation helps a wealth manager to acquire business

It was amazing experience when I met two promising wealth advisers in New Mumbai in my training  programme to train them to use LinkedIn to generate business leads.  It helped  me to understand what it needs for a wealth advisor to use social media.

A private wealth advisor is  an executive  who is in hurry to acquire clients.  I have tons of thanks to this community those are really “wealth doctors” have saved many families from ruins. Their insightful advice is helping many decisions to take shape to save money for unseen bad time.  And it is social media that can help them to reach at large  fraternity of people those can save.

What do today’s wealth managers need?

What does a wealth advisor need? I have met few of them. They need only one thing- appointment with clients as many as possible.  And, digital marketing

should be able to deliver it. Even in Mumbai kind of large city locations, many have told me that they will not hesitate to make 4 appointments in a day if they get appointments.

What is my training ?

I worked on a curriculum that was focused around LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network. But learning LinkedIn will not end the issues of getting leads. One needs to know email marketing to reach any potential customer online ongoing basis.  Hence we added sessions on email marketing.

My Cofounder Vishnu Nath taught them  email marketing.  In addition to this, we also took a session on Facebook as it can be used to build one’s personal brand among the community.  Facebook will provide scope to wealth managers to post-cast his / her daily news and happenings around his activities.

Most importantly, we also taught Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Website FAQs to ensure that wealth manager knows all that his website can help him/her in the business.

The curricula was :
  1.        Website, search Engine and SEO
  2.        How to get Appointments using LinkedIn
  3.        Facebook –  a potential tools for building personal brand.
  4.        Email Marketing

The training also taught many things to me.  I learned from them that how they are now marketing their wealth management services?  I get delighted when I see the great possibility of business success if today’s wealth managers integrate their efforts with leads generation support from digital marketing.
